Ok.. So now you've built your Edrum.. Now you have to hook it up to one of two things. A hardware sample
player with midi input, or your computer. If you are taking the computer route, let me throw a little bit of my
thoughts at ya. I've been playing around with drum sample software for about 3 years now. Some great programs out
there include DFH (Drumkit from Hell) and Native instruments Battery. But I've been working with a new program for
the last year or so that I think tops 'em all.
It's called BFD, and it's made by FXpansion.

A friend of mine brought his roland TD-20 over with his $2500 Roland-V electronic kit, and after about 3 days of
testing, tweaking and playing around with all the Hardware and software you could possibly imagine, we have come to
a conclusion.
Roland-TD20 = GREAT !! ... but
E-drum + BFD Deluxe Collection = ULTIMATE !!!
With the right settings, it blows the roland TD-20 outa the water as far as realistic sound goes. The only thing the
e-drum is lacking at the moment that the roland-TD20 can do is position sensing.
I will soon be working on "Position Sensing" for the E-Drum, through custom software for the E-drum called "E-Drum
Monitor". There is more about this software on another thread.
