Need advice on CPU power needs for a Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
I'm planning on getting this for the CPU
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz
and this for the motherboard
ABIT AW9D-MAX Socket T (LGA 775) Intel 975X ATX Intel Motherboard
The motherboard includes a 8 pin power connector for the CPU. Will this take care of my power needs for this CPU, or will I need another special power cable running straight from the PSU?
